Getting Resilience Right

The extreme North Island weather events in early 2023 are a stark reminder of New Zealand’s vulnerability to natural disasters and we’re inviting the Government to set out their priorities in a fiscally constrained world.

Our conference will examine the impact of climate change and building for an appropriate level of resilience to protect lives and property and reduce risk. We will also explore the regulatory environment and how to ensure the industry is strong and sustainable.

This event will look at how technology can help respond to major events and we’ll also delve into the critical issues of building industry trust and reputation and how the industry is getting insurance right for its customers.
